Surface cleaning

Cleaning of the surface with special machines and local surface repairs (wherever required).

Vapor barrier

Creating a water vapor barrier.

Installation of thermal insulation

Installation of Thermo Energy Plus Graphite thermal Insulating Plates. If required, the thermal insulating plates are glued with Athermo ,high strength mortar and adhesion & jointing of joint joints with the same material (if applicable). The thickness of the thermal insulating material needed is assessed by our certified insulators and is arranged upon consultation with the owner.

Creation of slopes and second layer of thermal insulation

Laying Τherbobeto® heat-insulating lightweight concrete to create 2% slopes. If required, two coats are made. After the laying with Terbobeto®, the surface is smooth with the use of scraper.

Primer adhesion 

Application of asphalt varnish with high adhesion

Special system pieces

Special membrane pieces are installed to further strengthen the system seal. The special pieces are placed on the perimeter parapets.

Waterproofing with asphaltic membrane

Application by hot gluing bitumen membrane THERMODIEN ENERGY PLUS SBS (ΕΝ 13707) with a non-woven polyester weight carrier 6Kg per m2, -20οC & weight of polyester cloth180gr/m2 . The bonding of the membranes is perpendicular to the slopes with a width of 10cm & 15cm between the rolls, the widthwise joints do not coincide.

Creation of substrate for gluing tiles.

Laying Τherbobeto® thermal-insulating lightweight concrete as final coating for the tile bonding. Thermobeto® also offers thermal insulation.

Waterproofing with Flex thermo

The final waterproofing of the system is made by installing a flexible FLEXTHERMO white two-component sealer that creates an elastic waterproofing membrane and offers great adhesion. It is recommended to reinforce the first layer with 5mm, 160gr / m2 A-FIBERGLASS MESH hard-wearing glass mesh to prevent cracks from the stresses that transferred from the substrate.

Tiles

Up to seven (7) days you can place tiles in accordance with specifications. It is recommended that you use the special glues and adhesives that we recommend to protect your investment.

Ventilation system

Installation of special type ventilators from which water vapor is discharged at about 30-60 m2 & at the highest points of insulation.

Mechanical fastening of the membrane

Mechanically fastening of the membrane with special blade pieces and sealing with polyurethane mastic.

Protection of compounds.

Cold coating on all the bituminous membrane compounds by applying ROOF ENERGY COOL elastomeric, highly elastic and waterproofing material based on new technology of acrylic & polyurethane resins.ες.

Gutter protection

Reinforcement in the gutter nozzles with special membrane placement and ROOF ENERGY COOL coating as well as polyurethane mastic. At the end of the work, protective grills are placed in all the gutters so that they do not block from tree leaves and other objects.
