Ferroguard 903 Plus. 5kg Reinforcement corrosion inhibitor

Sika® FerroGard®-903 Plus is a surface corrosion inhibitor application for steel reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures, designed for use with impregnation.
It is based on organic ingredients. It penetrates the concrete and forms a single-layer protective layer on the surface of the steel reinforcement.

It has a dual function, both by inhibiting the onset of corrosion and by reducing the corrosion rate of steel reinforcement. Anti-corrosion protection with the Sika® FerroGard®-903 Plus results in an extended service life of up to 15 years when used as part of the Sika Integrated Repair and Protection System.

• Complies with method 11.3 (application of corrosion inhibitor in concrete) as defined in EN 1504-9, Principle 11 (ascent control)
• It does not alter the appearance of the concrete structure

Applications:

• For anti-corrosion protection of steel reinforcement of underground and aboveground reinforced concrete structures
• For the repair and maintenance of reinforced concrete structures (without obvious signs of damage), where the steel reinforcement is corroded or at risk of corrosion due to the effects of the phenomenon of carbonation or the infiltration of chlorides.
• Sika® FerroGard®-903 Plus is especially useful for extending the life of concrete structures with surfaces of high aesthetic value (visible concrete, structures of historical interest).
