VIMACHEM-FOAM 20kg- Foam for production of cellular mortar

VIMACHEM FOAM is a foaming aqueous solution that is used to create foam with the help of a special foam machine.

• This foam is mixed with cement paste (0.5-0.6 kg water per kg of cement) in a special mixer and thus a cellular mortar is obtained, also called "foam- or lightweight concrete", although it does not contain aggregate.
• VIMACHEM FOAM is not intended for use as an aerated additive in load-bearing concrete elements.
• It can be classified in mortar aerators according to EN 934-3.

Vimachem-foam introduces a controlled amount of air into the fresh concrete in the form of tiny bubbles, which are evenly distributed without creating a communication network between them.

This property greatly improves the properties of the concrete in the case of both fresh and hardened concrete:

Raw concrete:

• Very significant improvement in workability, even in cases of large volume concrete, where the mixture includes brittle and large aggregate
• No change in cement setting time (start and finish)
