An inspection for proper operation of refrigeration and freezing chambers was performed during the delivery process of the Lidl warehouse extension in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The inspection was made to ensure that the refrigeration chambers were operating at the stable temperature that were intended to operate in order to keep the products fresh before they will be release for consumption.
At the same time, the inspection ensures the proper energy efficiency of the chambers, which means minimizing costs for their operation by the company.
The inspection included :
- A blower door was used to test the construction for its airtightness
- General thermographic inspection with an infrared thermal camera for the qualitative detection of thermal irregularities in refrigeration, freezing and maintenance chambers.
Written study and analysis of the results:
An analytical report was presented to the managers of the manufacturing company with the results and the measurements during the inspections.
