AQUAMAT-F is a ready-to-use aqueous silicate solution based on hydrophobic silicate compounds.

• These react with the existing calcium hydroxide of the structural element, forming insoluble compounds (monocalcium silicate hydrate), which stop capillary absorbency and create hydrophobicity at the same time.  
• It has no corrosive effect on concrete reinforcement.
• AQUAMAT-F is not suitable for application on exposed concrete, exposed masonry or plaster surfaces that are not to be plastered or painted.

• AQUAMAT-F is mainly applied to deal with rising humidity.
• The use of AQUAMAT-F aims to create a horizontal barrier against rising moisture at the base of the walls.
• In case of hydrostatic pressure, the use of AQUAMAT is required.
